Your thoughts on `mine` -- the new Coalton+CL IDE

Have any of you taken a look at mine, the new Coalton+CL IDE created by Robert Smith? Someone called it "Borland Turbo Lisp", and if you're old enough to remember the old Borland programming products of the 1990s, I think it's a good description.

Borland Turbo Lisp is a pretty good description. I haven't used it much yet, and I doubt it would ever replace Emacs for me, but I might end up recommending it to people around me for a first experience.

khinsen I'm pretty much in agreement. I think mine can valuable as a way to introduce people to Coalton and Common Lisp. It's nice that SBCL, QuickLisp, Coalton, and an Editor+REPL is all setup for you before you start. I fully acknowledge that this could be a huge barrier to entry for anyone curious about CL or Coalton.

With that said, I think people should eventually graduate to Emacs if they decide they want to do more Lisp development in the future. It's missing things like the ability to lookup documentation or inspect objects, and I don't know if those are in the plans for the future.
